Byzantine Storyworlds in Greek, Arabic, Georgian, and Old Slavonic (c. 950 – c. 1100)

Retracing connections: Byzantine Storyworlds in Greek, Arabic, Georgian, and Old Slavonic (c. 950 – c. 1100)
is a long-term international, interdisciplinary research programme
funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and administered by Uppsala University,
in collaboration with the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul and the University of Southern Denmark.
Through the work on narrative materials in four medieval languages,
the programme will produce new methodological and technical tools,
as well as critical editions and databases to help scholars approach
stories that traveled between premodern languages and cultures.
